Today students were exposed to prose prompts and student responses to them. We also wrapped up discussions on Song of Solomon.

Today in AP students took a literary terms quiz and also spent time with their novel analysis books.

Today was a prose day and students examined all of the past thirteen years worth of prose essays and discussed what they have in common. We discussed style and what contributes to it too.

Today AP students dicussed what makes an individual an individual. We also discussed novel analysis work. Students will be using google drive for their essays.

Today students discussed a TED video and then we discussed self awareness and its impact on our actions. Students should have selected a book to read for the next three weeks.
